Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we are cancelling all dancing (weeknights and special dances) for at least the next three weeks, or until conditions are such that we believe dancing may be safely resumed.
Although this may be in an abundance of caution, all authorities are recommending social distancing practiced early as the one thing we can do as a community to slow transmission. We also have a high percentage of our members in the higher risk senior group.
This cancellation is based on our assessment as an executive, and the recommendation of the Ontario Square and Round Dancing Association, and the position of St. James United Church.
May you all stay healthy, and we look forward to seeing you when dancing recommences.

Why do some folks quack during Acey Deucey?
Because someone pronounced it "Akey Deukey".
What does a Deukey (or Ducky) do? It quacks.
